Porter turned eight years old yesterday! I can't believe my baby is eight! He is growing up way too fast. He was so excited that when he woke up on his birthday he would already be eight years old because he was born at 7:00 am. Here are some fun things he did on his birthday....
- Ty went to Porter's school to eat lunch with him. Then they went to recess together and played tetherball! Then Ty went back to Porter's class and just hung out with him for awhile while the teacher read the class a story.
- Porter had soccer practice and brought m&m cookies for everyone for a birthday treat!
- Both Porter's grandmas and grandpas came over for pizza and birthday cake and to open presents.
- Porter's gifts included a new set of monogrammed scriptures, the new Magic Treehouse book (#46!), "My Weird School" book series, 8 five-dollar bills, a Build-a-Bear giftcard from Reagan, a football and a bouncy ball from Jake, a new scripture case from Grandma and Grandpa Weston, and some money and Caramello candy bars from Grandma and Grandpa Hansen.

It was a fun evening Porter. I was amazed at how much more grown up you were at 8 instead of 7.
